What world must this person be inhabiting for their experience and participation to make complete sense?

People do not encounter one another in a single, neutral reality. Each person experiences what is happening through a world organized by their stance, identity, assumptions, language, embodied state, and level of awareness.

That world determines what they notice, what they disregard, what appears possible, and how they participate.

This work occurs upstream of behavior, belief, narrative, communication, and strategy. It does not begin by asking how to change what someone thinks or does. It begins by asking what world they are already inside.

Using Lewis Carroll's Wonderland together with the Ontological Levels of Awareness Matrix, you will learn to recognize the distinctive logic of the world another person inhabits — and how to respond in ways proportionate to the person, the context, and the consequence.
